Who Am I?
My name is Matt Palermo. I'm a web developer from Denver, Colorado. I've held many jobs in the web development field ranging from Lead Software Developer to Systems Administrator. I've also spent a lot of time working with version control systems (mostly Subversion). I have a passion for doing things right (or at least trying to) and soaking up the vast amount of information that exists in the realm of web development. I love tweaking code to make it just a little bit more efficient and finding creative solutions to unique problems.
What Do I Know?
What Have I Worked On?
Much of my time has been spent working on applications that sit behind a login and require strict security. I've worked on a large CMS system for an international publisher. I've worked on a CRM and marketing application for very large, international IBM distributor. I also spent some time working on web based drug test scheduling and resulting software. Beyond those, I've worked on various smaller projects with various colleagues over the past several years. Currently, I'm part of a team that develops and maintains a national real estate listing website. I also spend a fair amount of my time working on several smaller side projects and experiments. At any given time it's most likely that I'm in front of my computer or glued to my iPhone.
